Evanston video producer John Bernin is working on three documentaries, including two focused on local subjects.

Bernin, profiled this week on the website ReelChicago, recently moved his corporate media company, FrameOne Communications and documentary unit, PassionDrive Productions, into new workspace in the factory-to-loft conversion at 2100 Greenwood St.

His documentary projects include one about Charles Harrison, the Evanston resident, product designer and first Africa-American executive at Sears. 

He’s also working on a documentary about Leo Passage, the founder of Pivot Point International, the Evanston-based chain of beuty schools

And he’s working on a third film about the long-term impact on children of international adoptions.
