Evanston-based Prairie Shore Properties has been acquired by Jameson Sotheby’s International Realty.

The transaction, reported by Chicago Real Estate Daily, adds about 50 real estate agents to the 250 Jameson Sotheby’s already had at its Lincoln Park office on North Avenue in Chicago.

Prairie Shore was founded 19 years ago. The two firms collaborated last year in marketing One Evanston, the stalled bank-owned downtown Evanston condo project formerly known as the Winthrop Club.

Prairie Shore’s offices at 2934 Central St. in Evanston and 4109 N. Lincoln Ave. in Chicago will be re-branded to operate under the Jameson Sotheby’s name.
