Evanston health officials today reported no new COVID-19 cases and no additional deaths, although state officials reported three new COVID-19 cases in the city.

It was the third day in the past week that the city has reported no new coronavirus cases. The city’s case count now stands at 741, with 57 deaths.

Chicago reported 188 new COVID-19 cases today for a total of 48,363 and 12 more deaths for a total of 2,283.

Statewide there were 658 new cases for a total of 128,415 and 20 additional deaths for a total of 5,924.

The Illinois Department of Public Health reported results of tests on 240 more Evanston residents today with a positive rate of 1.25%

The agency reported 20,086 test results statewide, with a positive rate of 4.1%. The seven-day rolling average of positive results now stands at 5.1%
