Evanston’s tallest building, formally known as the Orrington Plaza, but more commonly referred to as the Chase Bank tower, is back on the market.
Chicago Real Estate Daily reports that Los Angeles-based Lowe Enterprises, which bought the property for $54.5 million in 2006, has listed it with Los Angeles-based CBRE Inc.
The complex, which includes the two-story building at 1629 Orrington Ave. as well as the tower at 1603 Orrington, has nearly 309,000 square feet of office space, more than 31,000 square feet of retail and 290 underground parking spaces. It reportedly is about 88 percent leased.
