Multilingual Connections moves to The Main

Alderman Melissa Wynne and Mayor Steve Hagerty helped cut the ribbon at the new office this week.

Multilingual Connections, a woman-owned agency that provides translation, transcription, multimedia and interpretation services in over 75 languages, has relocated its office The Main, at 847 Chicago Ave.

“My family moved to Evanston in 2014, and it didn’t take long before I realized that Evanston would be the best home for my business, too," said Jill Kushner Bishop, the firm's founder and CEO.

Bishop says she moved her business to Evanston in 2015, but quickly outgrew that office.

Most of the firm's employees commute from Chicago, so Bishop says the new location, directly across from the Main Street CTA and Metra stations, is convenient. That, plus "abundant natural light and access to a gym, lounge and terrace, make this a great place for our team.”
