As part of Evanston's recognition of National Public Health Week, there will be a viewing of "Unnatural Causes," a documentary series broadcast by the Public Broadcasting Service.
It is now used by thousands of organizations around the country to tackle the root causes of socio-economic and racial inequities in health.
Join Evanston Health and Human Services Director Evonda Thomas-Smith, city staff, and community members to watch the video and discuss causes and solutions to inequity in our community.
The viewing and discussion will be held on April 3 in the Parasol Room on the fourth floor of the Morton Civic Center, 2100 Ridge Ave., beginning at 6 p.m.
