Evmark, Evanston’s downtown marketing organization, has moved its offices from the 8th floor of the Rotary International building to a ground-floor office at 820 Davis St.

“Our goal is to act as a visitor’s information center for the downtown,” said Executive Director Carolyn Dellutri. “Having a ground floor presence is integral in getting the word out about our services to both businesses and visitors.”

The organization is sharing space with the Technology Innovation Center, a not-for-profit incubator dedicated to supporting the growth of very early stage technology-based businesses.

“Being in such an amazingly entrepreneurial and collaborative environment as the incubator will help us keep our finger on the pulse of what businesses are in early stages of development and looking to grow within Evanston,” Dellutri said.

In recent months Evmark has also adopted a new consumer identity using the name “Downtown Evanston” and launched a new website.

Evmark provides marketing and management services to downtown Evanston and is a non-profit corporation funded by a special service area tax on downtown commercial property owners.
