The National Weather Service has issued a wind chill advisory for tonight in Evanston.

Temperatures will fall into the single digits this afternoon and below zero this evening.

Combined with moderate northwest winds that’s expected to result in wind chills of 10 to 20 below zero this afternoon and 15 to 25 below overnight.

The conditions can lead to frost bite and hypthermia if precautions aren’t taken. The weather service advises that if you must go outdoors, be sure to wear a hat and gloves.
