This morning’s sunshine and mild temperatures were just right for the weekly farmers market in downtown Evanston.

Giant mushrooms were available at one produce stand
The market, which runs from 7:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. on Saturdays from now through Nov. 4, features a wide array of seasonal produce from farms in Illinois, Indiana, Michigan and Wisconsin.

Rhubarb was available at many stands today.

The more than 30 vendors also have meat, cheese and baked goods.

The market is located on University Place east of Maple Avenue. Free parking is available in the Maple Avenue Parking Garage.
