The Evanston Fire Department has scheduled three community meetings over the next six weeks as it seeks community input on its current strategic plan.

The current plan was established nearly three years ago and covers a five-year period, but the department’s new fire chief, Brian Scott, who took command earlier this year, said he is interested in reviewing the plan to determine if changes need to be made.

Copies of the plan are available at all of the community’s fire stations, and it is accessible online on the city’s website.

The community meetings are scheduled as follows:

Tuesday, Oct. 17, 7 p.m., Levy Senior Center, 300 Dodge Ave.

Saturday, Nov. 4, 9 a.m., Gibbs-Morrison Cultural Center, 1823 Church St.

Wednesday, Nov. 15, 7 p.m., Fleetwood-Jourdain Center, 1655 Foster St.

Anyone with questions is invited to call 311 from Evanston.
