Someone set fire to a dumpster at Evanston Township High School around 10 p.m. Tuesday.
Emerson at Dewey
A dumpster was set afire in an alley near Emerson Street and Dewey Avenue at 8:21 p.m. Tuesday.
Someone set fire to a dumpster in an alley in the 1900 block of Church Street at 9:52 p.m. Tuesday.
Aramis D. S. Walker, 25, of 1406 Chicago Ave., was arrested at 901 Ridge Ave. at 6:50 p.m. Tuesday and charged with assault.
The passenger side of a 2008 Dodge was scratched between 4 p.m. Tuesday and 1:08 p.m. Wednesday in the 200 block of Grey Avenue.
Someone keyed the side of a 2020 Jeep in the 2200 block of Howard Street and slashed a tire on the vehicle around 11:30 a.m. Wednesday.
Someone keyed the side of a 2013 Chevrolet in the 1500 block of Hinman Avenue between July 7 and 8:08 a.m. on July 29.
Trevaughn T. Adams, 20, of 932 Judson Ave., was arrested at 4852 Hull St. at 8:30 p.m. Tuesday and charged with public indecency.
Gunshots were reported in the 300 block of Callan Avenue at 1:18 a.m. today. Patrol officers heard the shots fired, but nothing was located.
Gunshots were reported in the 100 block of Asbury Avenue at 1:12 a.m. yesterday. Police checked the area but found nothing.
Dempster at Lake Shore
Gunshots were reported at Dempster Street and Lake Shore Boulevard at 4:06 a.m. yesterday. Police checked the area but found nothing.
Gunshots were reported in the 1200 block of Harvard Terrace at 1:02 a.m. Wednesday. Police checked the area but found nothing.
A catalytic converter was removed from a 2008 Honda in the 2400 block of Park Place between 12:01 a.m. Sunday and 7:45 a.m. Wednesday.
A catalytic converter was removed from a 2009 Honda in the 1400 block of Rosalie Street between 9 p.m. Sunday and 8 a.m. Wednesday.
A catalytic converter was removed from a 2008 Honda in the 2300 block of Park Place between 8 p.m. Monday and 1:45 p.m. Tuesday.
A license plate was removed from a 2005 Buick in the 2100 block of Warren Street between 2 p.m. Tuesday and 9:31 a.m. Wednesday.
A silver and pink Minnesota 2.0 bicycle that was secured outside a building in the 2100 block of Ridge Avenue was stolen between 10:30 a.m. and 12:20 p.m. Tuesday.
Church at Chicago
A black Gravity Liberty hybrid bicycle, secured to a bike rack near Church Street and Chicago Avenue, was stolen around 12:06 a.m. today.
Someone forced their way into the lobby of a building in the 800 block of Judson Avenue between 9:30 p.m. yesterday and 7:30 a.m. today and stole packages that were in the common area.
A computer that was left in a yard in the 1200 block of Hinman Avenue was stolen between 2:35 p.m. and 2:45 p.m. Wednesday.
