Gotta B Crepes, based at 1601 Simpson St., has filed plans with the city to move to 2901 Central St.

That’s part of the space that used to be Rose’s Wheat-free Bakery.

Crepes shop owner Ryan Jones has also been selling his sweet and savory crepes at farmers markets around the region and has been getting some rave reviews.

Jamaican jerk chicken will be featured on the menu of Evanstonian Marlon Ramsay’s Da Jerk Pit, which he’s  planning to open soon in the site at 2430 Main St. that formerly housed Just Turkey, which closed last summer after three years in operation.

And a new restaurant plans to take over the vacant Five Guys Burgers & Fries location at 816 Church St.

The special use permit application to the city lists the new business’s name as 10Q Chicken.

All three plans for all three carry-out restaurants will require City Council approval.
