500 Main
A burglar gained entry to the Marie Parie Boutique at 508 Main St. by prying open the front door and stealing $500 in cash. The incident was reported to police around 9 a.m. yesterday.
3100 Park
The burglary of a 2018 BMW in the 3100 block of Park Place resulted in the loss of two computers and Chicago Cubs game tickets valued at about $800. The burglary occurred between 10 p.m. Monday and 7:15 a.m. yesterday.
3000 Park
Cash and a bag with miscellaneous merchandise were taken from a 2004 Volvo and a 2018 Honda in the 3000 block of Park Place between 6:30 p.m. Monday and 8 a.m. yesterday.
600 South Boulevard
A purse was stolen from Chicago Transit Authority property in the 600 block of South Boulevard around 10 p.m. yesterday.
Battery
1640 Chicago
Julia Green, 24, of 2151 Sherman Ave., was arrested at the Whole Foods Market at 1640 Chicago Ave. at 5:10 p.m. yesterday after a tussle with store security personnel and police who were attempting to arrest her. She was charged with battery and is due in court on June 18 at 1:30 p.m.

Gerald A. Brooks, 52, of 1408 Brown Ave., was arrested at 1919 Greenwood St. at 10:24 a.m. yesterday and charged with violating a city ordinance of a pedestrian under the influence. He is due in court on May 24 at 9 a.m.
Theft
1100 Chicago
Someone stole alcoholic products from a grocery store in the 1100 block of Chicago Avenue around 6 p.m. yesterday.
3200 Hartzell
A silver, four-door 2008 Lexus was stolen from the 3200 block of Hartzell Street between 9 p.m. Monday and 7:30 a.m. yesterday
