A 2005 Ford Focus was stolen yesterday in a parking lot near the sledding hill at James Park that locals commonly refer to as Mt. Trashmore. This among stories in today’s edition of the crime bulletin from Evanston police.

THEFT

300 Dodge

A black 2005 Ford Focus, parked near the sledding hill at James Park, was taken between 7 p.m. and 7:30 p.m. yesterday while its owner, a 25-year-old woman, was sledding with a friend.

1400 Dobson

A package was taken from the home of a resident in the 1400 block of Dobson Street between 1 p.m. Saturday and midnight yesterday.

ASSAULT

2650 Ridge

Reena Marin, 55, of 6748 N. Ashland Ave., Chicago, was arrested at Evanston Hospital at 2:50 a.m. today and charged with assault while being treated as a patient. She is due in court on March 16 at 9 a.m.

GRAFFITI

Livingston at Poplar

Graffiti was discovered on a structure near Livingston Street and Poplar Avenue at 8:58 a.m. yesterday.

TRAFFIC

1112 Main

Anna N. Domenick, 37, of 1720 Main St., was arrested at 1112 Main St. at 7:39 p.m. Sunday and charged with driving under the influence of alcohol. She is due in court on March 19 at 1:30 p.m.
