Theft

1500 Dempster

A white 2005 Ford truck was stolen from the 1500 block of Dempster Street between 2 a.m. and 7:28 a.m. yesterday.

1600 Sherman

Alcoholic products were stolen from a store in the 1600 block of Sherman Avenue shortly after 4 p.m. yesterday.

900 Clark

Eric J. Novy, 28, of 4624 S. Ellis Ave., Chicago, was arrested at 2:15 a.m. Saturday and charged with theft.

Battery

2450 Main

Reginald K. Jenkins, 28, of 2154 W. Arthur Ave., Chicago, was arrested at 2450 Main St. at 11:49 a.m. Saturday and charged with domestic battery.

Burglary

1100 Florence

Someone attempted unsuccessfully to enter a 1999 Toyota in the 1100 block of Florence Avenue between 1:15 a.m. and 10:15 a.m. yesterday.

Traffic

1200 Howard

Laura Alvarado, 47, of 2710 W. Lunt Ave., Chicago, was arrested at 1200 Howard St. at 7:30 p.m. yesterday and charged with a traffic violation. She is due in court on March 30 at 10:30 a.m.
