Evanston’s 35th annual Fountain Square Art Festival, a kaleidoscope of art, food and music, will be held on Saturday and Sunday, June 28 and 29.

The festival, in the heart of downtown Evanston, features over 200 hundred artists offering a wide array of art including photography, jewelry, metalwork, paintings and sculptures.

In the new FamilyFest Activity Area kids, and adults, can create art projects of their own under the creative guidance of the Evanston Art Center.

An interactive puzzle created by Evanston’s Bottle & Bottega and Good’s of Evanston promises a surprise conclusion to the festivities.

There’s music from noon until 5:30 p.m. each day, featuring the Etc.Music School and jazz impresarios Craig Brenner, Fred Simon and an Evanston favorite, BMR4.

Food, beer and wine from J.T.’s, Farmhouse, Nothing Bundt Cakes, Tomate and World of Beer will keep festival goers well fed. Outshine fruit and veggie bars and Cupcake Wines will offer samples to festival goers.
