Evanston police report four people recently arrested on battery charges.
One of those arrested was listed as homeless. Two others gave their address as the office of Connections for the Homeless on Dewey Avenue, which provides mailing addresses there for some of its clients..
Police also say shoplifters hit stores on Howard Street, Chicago Avenue and Green Bay Road.
