Evanston police and fire units were called to a four-car accident at Ridge Avenue and Lake Street about 6:30 this evening.
Police Chief Richard Eddington says fire units had to extract the driver of one car who was pinned inside his vehicle, but that it appears there were no serious injuries.
Eddington says police believe alcohol may have been a factor in causing the crash.
