Certified car seat safety technicians will be on hand this Saturday at Evanston Hospital to inspect the installation of child safety seats in automobiles.

There is no fee and no registration necessary, a release from the hospital said, and Spanish-speaking technicians will be available.

Among the participants will be a member of the Traffic Bureau of the Evanston Police Department.

The inspections will be held Saturday, Oct. 6, from 10 a.m. until noon at the hospital’s Kellogg Cancer Center, located just north of the main hospital entrance at 2650 Ridge Ave.
