The Moran Center for Youth Advocacy will offer free clinics to provide legal assistance for non-criminal matters to families with children attending Evanston District 65 schools.

The clinic provides assistance with such matters as adoption or guardianship, family law issues, housing, immigration, bankruptcy and consumer issues.

Ten sessions will be held throughout the fall at three locations:

Chute Middle School, 1400 Oakton St.

  • Time: 5:30 – 8:30 p.m.
  • Dates: Oct. 3, Nov. 7, Dec. 5 (first Wednesday of the month)

Hill Education Center, 1500 McDaniel Ave.

  • Time: 9 a.m. – 1 p.m.
  • Dates: Oct. 6, Nov. 3, Dec. 1 (first Saturday of the month)

King Labs School, 2424 Lake St.

  • Time: 6-9 p.m.
  • Dates: Oct. 17 and Dec. 19

Free childcare will be provided during clinic hours.

Parents may visit during clinic hours or call Moran Center Attorney Joan Clay at 847-278-4220 to schedule an appointment.
