The city will offer free parking in its downtown Evanston garages for holiday shoppers again this year.

Garages at Sherman Plaza, Maple Avenue and Church Street, as well as Lot 60, located at 1234 Chicago Ave., will provide free holiday parking from Thursday, Nov. 22, through Tuesday, Jan. 1., from 5 p.m. to midnight weekdays and all day Saturday.

Sunday parking is always free in the parking garages and lots.
