A free outdoor spring tennis clinic for ages 4 through 100 will be held from 9 to 11 a.m. on Saturday, April 19, at the Leahy Park tennis courts, Lincoln Street one block west of Ridge Ave.

Hosted by the City of Evanston’s Recreation Division, the clinic is designed to give youth and adults, beginners through tournament players, a chance to swing a racquet, play a little and pick up some tips from tennis pros.

In addition, participants can learn firsthand about the many tennis classes, leagues and special events available this spring and summer. Equipment will be available for those who need it.

This clinic is free to those who register by April 14. The fee after April 14 is $10/resident and $20/nonresident. In addition, anyone signing up by April 14 will receive a $5 discount for Recreation Division tennis classes. For more information or to register, call 847-448-8252.
