Theft

800 Grey

Furniture and tools were among items taken whle unsecured in the alley in the 800 block of Grey Avenue around 12:30 p.m. yesterday.

1800 Maple

A 2019 Ford was stolen from a retail establishment in the 1800 block of Maple Avenue between Jan. 11 and 10:46 a.m. yesterday.

1616 Sherman

Melissa Ann Mackey, 43, of 1458 Chicago Ave., was arrested at 1616 Sherman Ave. at 12:39 p.m. yesterday and charged with retail theft. She is due in court on March 29 at 9 a.m.

Shots Heard

2100 Darrow

Gunshots were reported yesterday at 4:27 p.m. in the 2100 block of Darrow Avenue. Police checked the area but found nothing.

An arrest does not constitute a finding of guilt, which can only be determined by a court of law. Court appearances take place in Cook County 2nd District Circuit Court in Skokie.
