Theft

2600 Sheridan

A sign at the Wildflower Garden, adjacent to the Butterfly Garden, has been stolen, as well as the sign at the head of the Shakespeare Garden on the Northwestern University campus. These are in addition to  the sign at the head of the Butterfly Garden that was reported stolen earlier in the week. All three gardens are maintained by the Garden Club of Evanston.

800 Grove

A wallet was removed from its owner’s purse at a restaurant in the 800 block of Grove Street between 12:15 p.m. and 12:45 p.m. yesterday.

Incidents listed appear among the official reports of the Evanston Police Department. An arrest does not constitute a finding of guilt, which can only be determined by a court of law. Court appearances take place in Cook County 2nd District Circuit Court in Skokie.
