Graffiti

1300 Sherman

Graffiti was discovered on Chicago Transit Authority property in the 1300 block of Sherman Place at 1:39 p.m. yesterday.

Theft

2400 Howard

Tequila was taken off the shelves of a grocery store in the 2400 block of Howard Street around 2:35 p.m. yesterday.

2400 Oakton

Someone stole gasoline from a gas station in the 2400 block of Oakton Street around 4:15 p.m. yesterday.

Traffic

1933 Dodge

Nathaniel J. Garretson, 24, of 8337 N. Trumbull Ave., Skokie, was arrested at 1933 Dodge Ave. at 11:40 p.m. yesterday and charged with a traffic violation. He is due in court on Aug. 7 at 9 a.m.

1215 Church

Toniece K. King, 33, of 1938 Dodge Ave., was arrested at 1215 Church St.. at 2:52 a.m. today and charged with driving under the influence. She is due in court on Aug. 24 at 9 a.m.

Incidents listed appear among the official reports of the Evanston Police Department. An arrest does not constitute a finding of guilt, which can only be determined by a court of law. Court appearances take place in Cook County 2nd District Circuit Court in Skokie.
