The Actors Gymnasium joins more than 75 area theaters for Chicago Theatre Week with discount tickets to its latest production “Skooled: A Study in Circus.”

The show takes audiences on a journey of eccentric clowning, aerial acrobatics, live music, and devilish pranks.

Featuring the work of Chicago clown Dean Evans, Co-Artistic Directors Larry DiStasi, Sylvia Hernandez-DiStasi and a team of designers and performers, this circus production explores the school of hard knocks.  Life’s lessons come in many forms.  And some people always end up in detention.

For opening weekend only, tickets are just $15 with the special Chicago Theatre Week discount. At the Actor’s Gymnasium website, use the discount code: THWEEK.

“Skooled” runs Feb. 16 through March 23, with shows at 7:30 p.m. on Fridays, 4:30 and 7:30 p.m. on Saturdays and 3 p.m. on Sundays  There’s no 4:30 show on Feb. 16.
