It’s a great weekend for Gilbert & Sullivan fans as The Savoyaires bring the operetta “The Gondoliers” to the stage of Chute Auditorium.

The show opened Friday night and there’ll be performances at 7:30 p.m. tonight and 3 p.m. on Sunday.

Performances continue next weekend at 7:30 p.m. on Friday and Saturday, Oct. 15 and 16, and a final show at 3 p.m. on Sunday, Oct. 17.

The Savoyaires have produced Gilbert & Sullivan operettas in Evanston for the past 46 years, with annual performances each fall.
