Criminal Damage

1600 Ashland

Someone broke the mirror on a 2013 Toyota in the 1600 block of Ashland Avenue between 7 p.m. Thursday and 7:52 a.m. yesterday.

Graffiti

300 Dodge

Graffiti was discovered on the sidewalk in the 300 block of Dodge Avenue at 9:21 a.m. yesterday.

Other

1823 Hovland

Nathaniel James Garretson, 24, of 6833 N. Kedzie Ave., Chicago, was arrested at 1823 Hovland Court at 11:20 p.m. yesterday and charged with disturbing the peace. He is due in court on Dec. 15 at 9 a.m.

1212 Fowler

Ryan L. Giles, 36, of 1212 Fowler Ave., was arrested at that address at 1:07 p.m. Friday and charged with failure to register as a child sex offender.

Theft

5600 Old Orchard

Kristopher D. J. Nicholson, 24, of 2315 W. Waveland Ave., Chicago, was arrested at 5600 Old Orchard Road at 9:30 a.m. Thursday and charged with theft.

Incidents listed appear among the official reports of the Evanston Police Department. An arrest does not constitute a finding of guilt, which can only be determined by a court of law. Court appearances take place in Cook County 2nd District Circuit Court in Skokie.
