Graffiti
Howard at Clyde
Graffiti was discovered at the bus stop at Howard Street and Clyde Avenue at 9:14 a.m. yesterday.
100 Custer
Graffiti was discovered at an office building in the 100 block of Custer Avenue at 10:05 a.m. yesterday.
500 Howard
Graffiti was discovered at a retail establishment in the 500 block of Howard Street at 6:12 p.m. yesterday.
600 Howard
Graffiti was discovered at a restaurant in the 600 block of Howard Street at 6:19 p.m. yesterday.
Graffiti was discovered at a retail establishment in the 600 block of Howard Street at 9:12 a.m. yesterday.
800 Howard
Graffiti was discovered at a dry cleaners in the 800 block of Howard Street at 11:36 a.m. yesterday.
Burglary
500 Church
Cash was taken from a 2011 Volkswagen in the 500 block of Church Street between 9 p.m. Sunday and 7:30 a.m. yesterday.
Shots Heard
1200 Harvard
Gunshots were reported in the 1200 block of Harvard Terrace at 10:25 p.m. yesterday. Police checked the area but found nothing.
Theft
900 Washington
A license plate was removed from a Yamaha in an apartment parking space in the 900 block of Washington Street between 10 p.m. Saturday and 10 a.m.Sunday.
1700 Sherman
A purse was taken while unattended at a restaurant in the 1700 block of Sherman Avenue between 8 p.m. Saturday and 11 a.m. Sunday.
1900 Sherman
Medical equipment was taken while unattended in the 1900 block of Sherman Avenue around 10:37 a.m. yesterday.
1700 Orrington
A cell phone was taken while unattended at the Evanston main library in the 1700 block of Orrington Avenue around 4:28 p.m. yesterday.
Traffic
1006 Ridge
Ulysses Armenta, 29, of 1450 N. Central Park Ave., Chicago, was arrested at 1006 Ridge Ave. at 10:04 p.m. Friday and charged with a traffic violation.
1200 Ridge
Philip K. Hogue, 48, of 1513 W. Winnemac Ave., Chicago, was arrested at 1200 Ridge Ave. at 7:50 p.m. Friday and charged with a traffic violation.
Howard at Francisco
Margarito Esteban-Maestro, 49, of 6635 N. Maplewood Ave., Chicago, was arrested at Howard Street and Francisco Avenue at 12:23 p.m. Friday and charged with a traffic violation. He is due in court on July 5 at 10:30 a.m.
7500 Western
Cynthia A. Ruiz, 59, of 2104 W. Foster Ave., Chicago, was arrested at 7500 N. Western Ave., Chicago, at 5:08 p.m. Friday and charged with a traffic violation. She is due in court on July 8.
1929 Emerson
Deanna M. Soper, 43, of 1728 Darrow Ave., was arrested at 1929 Emerson St. at 9:25 a.m. yesterday and charged with a traffic violation. She is due in court on June 27 at 9 a.m.
