Zev Grodzin and Aiden Cella both claimed individual sectional qualifying spots while leading the Evanston boys bowling team to a 7th place team finish on Saturday at the Glenbrook North Regional tournament.

Grodzin, a senior, and Cella, a junior, both posted scores above 1100 to earn at-large spots for next Saturday’s Immaculate Conception Sectional tournament in Glendale Heights.

Grodzin fired an 1193 series and Cella totaled 1106 pins for the Wildkits. Stevenson’s Ryan Lerman captured the individual championship at 1405.

Stevenson, with a team score of 6400, topped the advancing teams along with Glenbrook North (6092), New Trier (5779) and Notre Dame (5604) in the 11-team field. Evanston placed 7th with 5444 pins.
