The Evanston School Children’s Clothing Association provides school clothing for all Evanston/Skokie District 65 K-8th grade school children in need.

Each year the volunteer group provide a full wardrobe of clothing and shoes to 500 to 600 children — about one in every ten students in the district.

The group, which has just launched a new website, seeks donations of clean, gently used children’s clothing and coats, appropriate for grades K-8.

The group says its clothing assistance services are performed efficiently and discreetly and always keep the dignity of the families in mind.

The group’s clothing center, located in the District 65 administration building at 1500 McDaniel Ave. in Evanston, has a drop-off clothing bin on the west side of the building.
