A half-century old dining landmark on the Chicago side of Howard Street, Gullivers Pizza, is closing this weekend.

Block Club Chicago reports the restaurant and its building has finally sold to another restaurateur after being on the market since at least 2019 after owner Chris Karageorgis decided to retire.

A kosher dining spot is reportedly planned for the Gulliver’s building.

The property has been known for its large collection of antiques. Some have been sold off over the past few years. The rest reportedly are included in the sale of the restaurant building.
