The center’s director, Eden Juron Pearlman says Halperin will be responsible for creating an integrated strategic fundraising plan for the history center, which includes annual giving, planned giving, corporate and foundation relations and major gifts.
Halperin will work closely with the Communications and Development Committee chaired by Bryn Wagner Hansen.

Halperin has over 18 years in development and fundraising. She previously she was a senior development executive with American Friends of the Hebrew University in Chicago, director of development for Indiana University South Bend, and endowment director for the Jewish Federation of St. Joseph Valley, South Bend, Ind. Halperin also had her own marketing and public relations firm in Indiana serving the arts, culture and social justice areas.
