Farmers markets in Evanston are moving into autumn harvest mode this weekend.
The Downtown Farmers’ Market on Saturday has just four more weeks to run. Itcontinues until Nov. 1 from 7:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. at Maple Avenue and University Place.
Tomorrow will be the third-to-last session for the West End Market, at Church Street and Dodge Avenue.
The West End market is planning a special Harvest Day session its last day, Saturday, Oct. 25. Hours are 7 a.m. to 2 p.m. The day will feature live entertainment starting at noon, goodie bags for children, pumpkin-decorating, face painting and games. Produce, prepared hot foods and arts and crafts will be for sale.
