The Evanston Township High School board is seeking community input as it develops a revised set of goals for the next few years.

It’s asking students, parents and guardians, district employees and community members to complete a survey asking questions about the budget, curriculum, extracurricular activities and student well-being to help in updating the current goals document.

The survey is available online and paper copies of the survey and the current goals area available in the ETHS main office at 1600 Dodge Ave. All responses are anonymous. The deadline for completing the survey is Feb. 29.

  1. Survey is a SHAM

The only purpose of that survey could be so that ETHS can say they surveyed the public.   Or, to justify their current direction.

There was only one – very narrowly defined – area for input.

That – in no way – engages the community in goal setting.

    Not by a long shot.
