Evanston’s Hilton Garden Inn has wrapped up a renovation of its lobby, guest reception and dining areas.

General Manager Adrian Brewington says the work is part of a major brand revitalization effort at the six-story, 178-room hotel located at 1818 Maple Ave..

The remodeled Garden Grille and Bar features expanded bar seating, beer on tap and multiple TVs.

Tailored color schemes, seating arrangements, lobby bars, and updated floor and tile-work are hallmarks of what the chain calls its Project Grow initiative.

Brewington says, “The communal dining table and enhanced lighting and décor create a comfortable space which will allow guests to take greater advantage of the hotel’s public spaces and offerings, whether they are traveling for business or for pleasure.”

Each hotel room now includes an oversized desk with an ergonomic desk chair; 32-inch HD television, and a “hospitality center” with a mini-fridge, microwave oven and Keurig coffee maker.

The hotel features seven function rooms, offering more than 5,500 square feet of flexible space to accommodate meetings and banquets for up to 200 people.

Hilton Garden Inn Chicago North Shore/Evanston is operated by Interstate Hotels & Resorts.
