The Evanston History Center will hold its seventh annual holiday food drive Thursday, Nov. 29 through Sunday, Dec. 2.

The food drive is conducted in conjunction with the Greater Chicago Food Depository. All the food collected will go directly to a food pantry in Evanston.

The center will accept donations of nutritious, non-perishable food (no glass containers, please) each day of the drive from 1 to 4 p.m. at the Dawes House, 225 Greenwood St.

Food most needed includes: canned fruit, beans, and vegetables, pasta, pasta sauce, peanut butter, rice, canned soup, canned tuna, cereal and shelf-stable milk.

More information is available on the Greater Chicago Food Depository website.
