SASI, Services for Adults Staying in Their Homes, today announced the launch of a new name and brand — Argentium Care — to represent the 40-year-old Evanston-based not-for-profit organization.
Jeanie Ramsey, Argentium’s executive director, says “The new Argentium Care brand is bright, colorful and full of life. It personifies everyone within our organization. And it represents the individual spirit of every client we serve. It is a display of the energy and spirit we all share.”
“We’re doing more than just helping our clients survive – we’re helping them thrive,” added Ramsey.
The caregivers, volunteers and staff members who have made such an impact on the community will continue to provide the highest quality care and support, Ramsey says. Current and new clients can expect the same dedication and service they have come to expect and appreciate.
Argentium Home Care provides non-medical home care assistance to help manage everyday activities and create a comfortable, safe daily routine for its clients.
Support is provided for personal care, mobility assistance, homemaker tasks, companionship, and appointment assistance, as well as transportation for errands, shopping and doctor visits.
Argentium Senior Connections volunteer visitors build friendships with older adults through weekly visits. The volunteers are vetted, trained and supported by Argentium Care staff.
“Our mission remains unchanged. Our services, and the way they are delivered, will continue to grow and evolve to meet the needs of our clients,” Ramsey said.
The organization, based at 1123 Emerson St., will continue to offer programs in Evanston, Chicago, North Shore, and the near and northwest suburbs, with plans to serve more communities.
The word Argentium is also a brand name for a modern tarnish-resistant alloys of silver.
