Someone broke windows and damaged siding at a home in the 2000 block of Dodge Avenue. This among the stories in today’s daily crime bulletin from Evanston police.

Battery

128 Custer

Andre J. Mhoon, 22, of 2110 Dewey Ave., was arrested at 128 Custer Ave. at 10 p.m. Sunday and charged with battery. A court date has been set for May 18 at 9 a.m.

Criminal Damage

2000 Dodge

Windows were broken and siding was damaged to a home in the 2000 block of Dodge Avenue between April 9 and 4:30 p.m. yesterday.

1700 Brown

A window was damaged on a Volkswagen in the 1700 block of Brown Avenue between 9:30 p.m. Sunday and 7:30 a.m. yesterday.

400 Custer

A tire was slashed on a 2002 Chevrolet parked on the street in the 400 block of Custer Avenue between 6:30 p.m. Sunday and 6:30 p.m. yesterday.

1454 Elmwood

Andre J. Mhoon, 22, of 2110 Dewey Ave., was arrested at Evanston police headquarters at 3:55 a.m. yesterday and charged with criminal damage to property. He is due in court on May 18 at 9 a.m.

Criminal Trespass

1916 Foster

Taron L. Burton, 19, of 3308 N. Keating, Chicago, was arrested at 1916 Foster St. at 12:36 a.m. yesterday and charged with criminal trespass to residence. A court date was set for April 26 at 9 a.m.

Drugs

Ridge at Oakton

Damian Christopher Kelley, 37, of 1712 W. Estes, Chicago, was arrested at Ridge Avenue and Oakton Street at 2:22 p.m. Sunday and charged with possession of a controlled substance. He is due in court on May 18 at 9 a.m.

Graffiti

Washington at Chicago

Graffiti was discovered on railroad property near Washington Street and Chicago Avenue at 9:18 a.m. yesterday.

Other

1454 Elmwood

Fuad Mohammed, 32, of 6508 N. Hoyne, Chicago, was arrested at Evanston police headquarters at 9:40 a.m. Saturday and charged with aggravated identity theft. He is due in court on May 18 at 9 a.m.

Traffic

7537 Western

Curtis G. Ruff, 25, of 2248 W. Morse, Chicago, was arrested at 7537 N. Western Ave., Chicago, at 8:25 p.m. yesterday and charged with a traffic violation. He is due in court on May 24 at 10:30 a.m.

Incidents listed appear among the official reports of the Evanston Police Department. An arrest does not constitute a finding of guilt, which can only be determined by a court of law. Court appearances take place in Cook County 2nd District Circuit Court in Skokie.
