A male teenager notified Evanston police that three persons wearing masks invaded his home Tuesday afternoon, but when they left, all that was missing was a Sony Play Station 3.

According to Cmdr. Jay Parrott, the youth, 15, said he heard voices and was confronted by the offenders, all believed to be male, one of whom brandied a gun and forced the victim to lie down.

He told police he heard the trio moving through the house, located in the 200 block of Hartrey Avenue. When they left, he noticed that only the video game player was missing.

He then called a friend, who persuaded the youth to call police.

Parrott said the investigation by police continues.
