Burglary

400 Davis

Jewelry and cash were among items taken in an apartment  burglary in the 400 block of Davis Street between 7:20 a.m. Friday and noon on Saturday.

2300 Lake

An Apple laptop computer, along with cash, were among items taken from a home in the 2300 block of Lake Street between 10 p.m. and 10:30 p.m. Friday.

Battery

100 Chicago

One person was shot in the neck and a second victim was shot in the thigh in an altercation on the sidewalk in the 100 block of Chicago Avenue at about 9:20 p.m. yesterday.

1233 Fowler

Alonzo M. Garner, 45, of 1233 Fowler Ave., was arrested at that address at 3:53 a.m. Saturday and charged with domestic battery. 

328 Callan

Jamal Harvey, 42, of 328 Callan Ave., was arrested at that address at 4:10 p.m. Friday and charged with domestic battery. He is due in court on Jan. 31 at 9:30 a.m. 

Criminal Damage

1300 Darrow

Someone damaged the front windshield and passenger side window of a 2000 Lexus in the 1300 block of Darrow Avenue between 6 p.m. Saturday and 6:04 a.m. yesterday.

Criminal Trespass

1123 Howard

Kenneth Ross, 36, of 116 Callan Ave., was arrested at 1123 Howard St. at 8:55 a.m. Friday and charged with trepassing on real property. He is due in court on March 9 at 9 a.m.

Other

1415 Oakton

Sdenley Pompilus, 21, of 8818 Forestview Road, Skokie, was arrested at 1415 Oakton St. at 5:39 p.m. Saturday and charged with reckless conduct. 

Theft

900 Church

Someone stole three pairs of gold and green leggings from a store in the 900 block of Church Street at about 7:12 p.m. Friday.

1700 Chicago

A red and yellow bicycle was stolen from a bike rack in the 1700 block of Chicago Avenue between midnight and 7:30 p.m. Saturday.

300 Custer

Someone removed the door locks from a 2009 Chevrolet in the 300 block of Custer Avenue between 8:30 p.m. Friday and 8:30 a.m. Saturday.

Traffic

1235 Ridge

Paul N. Francis, 30, of 222 Asbury Ave., was arrested at 1235 Ridge Ave. at 12:08 p.m. Wednesday and charged with a traffic violation. He is due in court on Feb. 16 at 1:30 p.m.

Dodge at Oakton

Ishmael Ruiz, 59, of 2326 W. Estes Ave., Chicago, was arrested at Dodge Avenue and Oakton Street at 10:38 a.m. yesterday and charged with a traffic violation. He is due in court on March 28 at 9 a.m.

Incidents listed appear among the official reports of the Evanston Police Department. An arrest does not constitute a finding of guilt, which can only be determined by a court of law. Court appearances take place in Cook County 2nd District Circuit Court in Skokie.
