CRIMINAL DAMAGE
1500 Central
A Honda motor scooter was found damaged in the 1500 block of Central Street. Police speculate that it was either pushed over or was damaged by someone trying to take it. The damage occurred between noon and 2:19 p.m. Saturday.
1900 Jackson
Someone damaged a door by kicking it between 11:15 p.m. Friday and 12:57 a.m. Saturday in the 1900 block of Jackson Avenue.
800 Main
A window was found broken at a vacant property in the 800 block of Main Street at 7:18 p.m. Saturday.
BATTERY
1630 Hinman
Joyonta Christine Henderson, 31, address unknown, was arrested at 1630 Hinman Ave. at 12:09 a.m. on May 5 and charged with battery.
Main at Ashland
Zarious Brinner, 25, of 1125 S. Oak Park Ave., Oak Park, was arrested at Main Street and Ashland Avenue at 10:36 a.m. Sunday and charged with domestic battery.
BURGLARY
700 Chicago
A burglar gained entry to a secured storage room in the 700 block of Chicago Avenue between noon on May 1 and 5:51 p.m. Friday and stole a bicycle.
400 Hamilton
Someone gained entry to a 2019 Honda in the 400 block of Hamilton Street between 9 p.m. Friday and 1 p.m. Sunday and stole some cash.
1000 Darrow
A burglar gained entry to an unlocked 2008 Sabaru in the 1000 block of Darrow Avenue between 9:30 p.m. Friday and 9 a.m. Saturday and stole some cash.
1900 Sherman
A burglar gained entry to an unsecured common area in the 1900 block of Sherman Avenue between 3 p.m. and 8 p.m. Saturday and stole a computer.
CRIMINAL TRESPASS
1703 Orrington
Ricardo M. Hughes, 31, address unknown, was arrested at 1703 Orrington Ave. at 11:27 a.m. Saturday and charged with criminal trespass.
SHOTS HEARD
1400 Dobson
Gunshots were reported in the 1400 block of Dobson Street at 4:14 a.m. Sunday. Police checked the area but found nothing.
2200 Emerson
Gunshots were reported in the 2200 block of Emerson Street at 2:36 a.m. Monday. Police checked the area but found nothing.
THEFT
1700 Keeney
A package was stolen from a residence in the 1700 block of Keeney Street around 4:15 p.m. Friday.
1000 Darrow
A package was stolen from a residence in the 1000 block of Darrow Avenue between 8 p.m. Thursday and 9:51 p.m. Friday.
1700 Brummel
A catalytic converter was removed from a 2018 Mitsubishi in the 1700 block of Brummel Street around 1:45 a.m. Saturday.
400 Dodge
A catalytic converter was removed from a vehicle in the 400 block of Dodge Avenue between 8 a.m. and 4 p.m. Thursday.
800 Mulford
A catalytic converter was removed from a 2003 Oldsmobile in the 800 block of Mulford Street between midnight on May 5 and 8:30 p.m. Wednesday.
1800 Dempster
A cell phone was stolen at the Burger King in the 1800 block of Dempster Street around 6:30 p.m. on May 5.
100 Asbury
Someone gained access to a secured storage room at a residence in the 100 block of Asbury Avenue at 6:15 p.m. Friday and stole a bicycle.
1600 Chicago
Someone stole alcoholic products from Whole Foods Market in the 1600 block of Chicago Avenue around 6 p.m. Friday.
1100 Chicago
Someone stole alcoholic products from the Jewel-Osco grocery store in the 1100 block of Chicago Avenue around 11 p.m. Saturday.
