The National Weather Service says it should be sunny and near 85 degrees Saturday, but today’s rain has dampened plans for Earth Day activities in Evanston.

Organizers of a planned “intergenerational solidarity rally” in Fountain Square have announced they’re postponing the event until Monday afternoon, because of what the weather service says is a “slight chance of thunderstorms today.”

Monday is expected to be partly sunny, with a high near 53 degrees.
