ROBBERY

100 Ashland

A black 2012 Hyundai Elantra was hijacked in the 100 block of Ashland Avenue around 10:55 a.m. Sunday and recovered later in Chicago.

BATTERY

1454 Elmwood

Haeyley Schivon Nipper, 35, of 123 Callan Ave., was arrested at Evanston police headquarters at 10:02 a.m. Wednesday and charged with domestic battery.

CRIMINAL DAMAGE

1700 Maple

A mirror was damaged on a vehicle in the city’s parking garage in the 1700 block of Maple Avenue between 5:50 p.m. on Aug. 8 and 1:01 p.m. yesterday.

300 Ridge

Someone threw a rock and damaged a 2917 Chevrolet in a parking lot in the 300 block of Ridge Avenue at 7:42 a.m. yesterday.

SHOTS HEARD

Emerson at Dodge

Gunshots were reported at Emerson Street and Dodge Avenue at 10:51 p.m. yesterday. Police checked the area but found nothing.

THEFT

600 Hinman

Two secured bicycles were stolen in the 600 block of Hinman Avenue. An orange Marin Nacasio was taken between 10 p.m. Sunday and 7:30 a.m. yesterday, while a black Trek bicycle was taken between 8 p.m. Thursday and 7:50 a.m. yesterday.
