  1. Ice cream is nice
Very nice, I am all for ice cream- even though I find Mr. Oberweis’ politics – and his dishonest campaign tactics – to be extremely distasteful. This looks like a harmless, fun affair.

But really, where is the ‘history lesson’ ?

While it is nice that the kids had a good time, this once again brings up the question: what is the purpose of the Evanston Historical Center? To host ice cream parties, preserve an old house, and maintain a costume collection?

I hope that the board members of the EHC will answer this question. Does EHC have any historical mission, or is it just a social group dedicated to preserving an old house?
