Enjoy this morning’s warm temperatures while you can — Evanston is expected to get a wintery mix of rain, sleet, freezing drizzle and even snow by tonight.

Edgar Cano of the city’s Public Works Agency says pavement temperatures will be below freezing, increasing the risk of a flash freeze. Night crews will start at 7 p.m. to monitor road and weather conditions.

The precipitation is already falling, and is expected to continue until around 1 a.m. Friday morning.
