Someone smashed the passenger window of a 2008 Infiniti in the 1000 block of Colfax Street between 7 p.m. Wednesday and 7 a.m. yesterday and stole a radar detector.

A mailbox was pried open in the 600 block of South Boulevard between 6 p.m. Wednesday and 11:45 a.m. yesterday.

1703 Orrington
Ryan O. Bailey, 35, of 909 ½ Sherman Ave., was arrested at 1703 Orrington Ave. at 11:45 a.m. yesterday and charged with trespassing on state-supported land. He is due in court on Dec. 18 at 9 a.m.

Martin Camarena, 30, of 5043 S. Paulina Ave., Chicago, was arrested at 1200 Ridge Ave. at 6:30 a.m. yesterday and charged with disobeying the police.
Shots Heard
1400 Grey
Gunshots were reported in the 1400 block of Grey Avenue at 7:30 p.m. yesterday. Police checked the area but found nothing.
Theft
600 Church
Someone removed a wallet from a purse at a restaurant in the 600 block of Church Street between 12:35 p.m. and 1:25 p.m. yesterday.

Hector Ochoa, 26, of 6136 S. Campbell Ave., Chicago, was arrested at 1200 Ridge Ave. at 6:21 a.m. yesterday and charged with driving under the influence. He is due in court on Dec. 14 at 1:30 p.m.
706 Asbury
Valentino Quiroz-Nicolas, 31, of 4842 183d St., Cicero, was arrested at 706 Asbury Ave. at 7:04 p.m. yesterday and charged with a traffic violation. He is due in court on Dec. 13 at 9 a.m.
