BURGLARY
1300 Oak
An insulin pump valued at $6,000 was inside a pink handbag taken in the burglary of a 2018 Toyota in the 1300 block of Oak Avenue between 9:30 p.m. on April 22 and 8:30 a.m. on the 23rd. The burglar gained access via an open window.

1100 Chicago
A purple golf bag was among items taken in the burglary of an unlocked 2021 Honda in the Jewel-Osco parking lot in the 1100 block of Chicago Avenue between 10:36 p.m. and 11 p.m. Saturday.

GRAFFITI
700 Reba
Spray-painted graffiti was discovered on the street in the 700 block of Reba Place at 7:16 a.m. Friday.

700 Sherman
Spray-painted graffiti was discovered on the street in the 700 block of Sherman Avenue at 10:03 a.m. Friday.

800 Chicago
Spray-painted graffiti was discovered on the street in the 800 block of Chicago Avenue at 9:32 p.m. Friday.

SHOTS HEARD
Simpson at Darrow
Gunshots were reported near Simpson Street and Darrow Avenue at 11:29 p.m. Saturday. Police checked the area but found nothing.

Incidents listed appear among the official reports of the Evanston Police Department. An arrest does not constitute an assumption of guilt, which can only be determined by a court of law. Court appearances take place at Cook County 2nd District Court in Skokie.
