2300 Howard

A customer at Best Buy, in the 2300 block of Howard Street, forcibly took an iPad from a 22-year-old female employee’s hands at about 5:45 p.m. Tuesday.

BATTERY

1454 Elmwood

Raul Flores-Solis, 49, of 5954 W. Belden Ave., Chicago, was arrested at Evanston police headquarters at 8:50 a.m. Monday and charged with battery.

4800 Oakton

Patrick Holmes, 32, of 8023 Kilpatrick Ave., Skokie, was arrested at 4800 Oakton St. at 12:01 a.m. yesterday and charged with battery.

1927 Church

Desmond M. Jiles, 33, of 1927 Church St., was arrested at that address at 5:38 p.m. Monday and charged with domestic battery.

CRIMINAL DAMAGE

2400 Main

Someone scratched a 2010 Honda in the 2400 block of Main Street between 11:55 a.m. and 12:10 p.m. Tuesday.

1200 Noyes

Someone broke the window of a 2019 Jeep in a residential garage in the 1200 block of Noyes Street between 2 p.m. Monday and 6:30 a.m. yesterday.

OTHER

1950 Green Bay

Andre T. Francis, 26, of 1419 Brown Ave., was arrested at 1950 Green Bay Road at 7:38 p.m. on Oct. 19 and charged with illegally transporting alcoholic products.

THEFT

2200 Oakton

Tools were stolen from the Home Depot store in the 2200 block of Oakton Street at 3:16 p.m. yesterday.

800 Hinman

Someone gained entry to a storage unit in the 800 block of Hinman Avenue between 4 p.m. on Oct. 21 and 8:30 a.m. yesterday and stole a Giant Escape 3 bicycle.

500 Hinman

A package was taken from the front of a residential building in the 500 block of Hinman Avenue between 8:50 a.m. and noon yesterday.

600 Chicago

Alcoholic products were stolen from the Walgreens Pharmacy in the 600 block of Chicago Avenue at 10:03 a.m. yesterday.

1600 Sherman

Clothing items were taken from the Target store in the 1600 block of Sherman Avenue at 1:08 p.m. Monday.

1800 Maple

A Trek bicycle secured to a bike rack in the 1800 block of Maple Avenue was stolen between 7 p.m. Sunday and 8 a.m. Monday.

800 Emerson

Hygiene products were taken from a 7-Eleven convenience store in the 800 block of Emerson Street at 1:48 a.m. yesterday.

1700 Wesley

A catalytic converter was removed from a 1999 Toyota in the 1700 block of Wesley Avenue between noon on October 19 and 8 a.m. the following morning.

TRAFFIC

1235 Emerson

Jeffrey Milburn Manning, 53, of 510 SE Highway 484, in Ocala, Fla., was arrested at 1235 Emerson St. at 9:10 a.m. Tuesday and charged with a traffic violation.

825 Asbury

Mariah S. McArthur, 26, of West 69th Street, Chicago, was arrested at 825 Asbury Avenue at 3:51 a.m. Friday and charged with a traffic violation.

Maple at Church

Alberto Ramirez Valle, 31, of 4716 N. Lawndale Ave., Chicago, was arrested at Maple Avenue and Church Street at 12:13 a.m. Sunday and charged with a traffic violation.

355 Ridge

Manar J. Salem, 33, of 7768 N. Sheridan Road, Chicago, was arrested at 355 Ridge Ave. at 7:43 p.m. Tuesday and charged with a traffic violation.

1322 Fowler

Floyd Lenon Spencer, 31, of 1305 Pitner Ave., was arrested at 1322 Fowler Ave. at 8:25 a.m. yesterday and charged with a traffic violation.
