Today is your last chance to cast a vote in the elections for school and park districts in Evanston.

It’s been a low-interest election during early voting, which concluded Monday. City Clerk Devon Reid says just over 1,000 Evanston voters cast ballots during the two weeks of early voting — one of the lowest turnouts ever.

Four candidates are competing for three seats on the Evanston Township High School board and 13 candidates are seeking three seats on the Oakton Community College board. There’s no contest in the race for three seats on the District 65 school board.

There’s a four-way race for three seats on the Ridgeville Park District board in south Evanston.

There’s no contest in the election for three Lighthouse Park District board seats in northeast Evanston, but those voters will face a referendum question on whether the number of Park District commissioners should be reduced to five from seven.

If you’re unsure where to go to vote, you can look up the location of your polling place online.

We’ll have election results after the polls close at 7 p.m.
